virus popups...what to do

I get many computers coming in that have been infected by one virus or another.  Almost all of these computers and laptops have some sort of antivirus installed on them, so what's going on?  Are these viruses outsmarting the anti virus programs? No they are outsmarting the user.

If and when you get a popup that looks unfamiliar stating your have a multitude of infections and asks you to click somewhere inside the box...don't do it!!!  If you click anywhere inside the popup even the (X) or the (-) in the upper right hand corner you will activate the "program"

This clicking anywhere inside the popup will tell your antivirus program that you are allowing it to download into your computer and play havic.

If you need to close the popup always do it by right clicking the box in the taskbar that corresponds to the pop and selecting close.  This action will not activate the virus.

Hope this advise saves you some money and time....
