Well Christmas is getting closer and we are all doing our Christmas shopping. If you are computer savvy you can get some pretty good deals online. One of the best ways to get really good deals is to take advantage of the larger stores policy of matching any price. If you are going to purchase a big ticket item or a small item for that matter, simply go to shopbot.ca and fill in the search area with the item you are going to buy. Shopbot will give you a list of all the stores in Canada that sell that item and the prices they charge from lowest to highest. If you have internet access on the go with your iphone, android etc you can do this right at the store...that is what I do....If not, write down the item name and model number and take the info home...find it in shopbot.ca, print out the cheapest price and bring it with you to the store...most stores will comp the price plus 10% more...which offsets the fact that most stores will also add the shipping cost of your shopbot find...although some don't. You can save a very large amount of money this way.
If you are purchasing items online always Google the item name then "coupon codes" many items are further reduced with these codes but are not advertised. Good luck with your purchases......
